On this page, you will find my video work. This includes edited clips, short films, animation demos, and sound design applied to pre-made animated clips. These videos vary from being linked from YouTube and being from my own collection. Captions explaining the work will be below the respective video.
Cutter Consulting Group videos: These videos were part of a video editing contract with the company between March 2021 and December 2022. You can see the videos I edited for them here. These videos have been linked here with the permission of Jason Cutter and Cutter Consulting Group.
The Human's Plushes (ATK 380): This video was for a video documentary project, and as you can clearly see, my imagination took over. This piece was created for educational purposes. Sound effects come from video games such as "Spyro: Year Of The Dragon", "Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island", "Marble Madness", "Croc: Legend Of The Gobbos" and "Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2" among other libraries. Music provided by https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music. Finally, yes, I voiced the characters.
Fire (ATK 201): This assignment was a test in motion graphics, a field I never really did before.
Reggie's Adventure (ATK 201): This short film was shot in a dorm room and required multiple shots and editing in Premiere Pro.
How To Make Your First Charcoal Drawing (ATK 201): This assignment was to create an instructional video on how to do something. I decided to simply do a generic charcoal drawing.
Yoshi (ATK 380): This piece took an existing animated piece and added sound design, narration, and a musical score, all for an assignment. Sound effects came from a number of sound effect libraries, including sound effects from "Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island" and "Spyro: Year of the Dragon". As for Yoshi, yes, I voiced him. DISCLAIMER: I do not own the work of animation, it was created by "plebanshiren" and originally released under the title "yoshi, egg, and melon". This sound design piece was created for an assignment and was thus created for educational purposes.
Tyler (ATK 380): This piece is a sound design work collab with Tyler Thacker, an animation class student. The animation is his, the sound design work is mine. Put together with sound effects libraries, including the "Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island" and "Spyro: Year of the Dragon" sound effect libraries. Vocals are my own and the music was put together/composed in Abelton. As for the title, this was the original title of the file given to me to work on. I would have gone for a more original title, but after looking at it, I can't think of one. Watch the video, and you will see what I mean.
Spyro And Oliver Go To An Arcade (ATK 380): This stop motion video, created for a motion graphics class, features the same two characters from "The Human's Plushes" and features music from the Master System/Game Gear version of "Sonic The Hedgehog". This piece was created for educational purposes.
Voting Age Infographic (ATK 380): This infographic, created using Adobe After Effects cover the percentage of the voting age population that voted in the primary elections between 1932 and 2016. The sources of the information used for this infographic are listed in the video.
